Becher Industrieschilder Product Overview
Industrial Identification from a single source

Industrial companies face a wide range of requirements in identification, operation and product information. Becher Industrieschilder combines these aspects into three product categories. Benefit from a broad product range, extensive in-house manufacturing, consistently high quality and reliable delivery times.

Signs

Industrial signs are essential information carriers for machines, devices and equipment. They must remain permanently legible and function reliably even under demanding operating conditions.

Typical applications:

  • Nameplates and rating plates
  • Brand mark signs and emblems
  • Scales, measuring scales and dials
  • Blanks, die cut parts and functional components
  • Barcode signs
  • Dog licence tags
  • Tree tags
Fronts

Front plates, front panels and front films combine functionality, identification and design. They structure control interfaces, carry markings and integrate precisely into devices and enclosures.

Typical applications:

  • Front plates
  • Front panels
  • Front overlays
  • Keypad overlays
Labels

Labels serve a wide range of purposes – from product identification and safety information to logistics. Key factors are adhesion, durability and legibility.

Typical applications:

  • Technical labels
  • Promotional labels
  • Security labels
  • Markable labels
  • Barcode signs
  • Cut lettering
  • 3D labels

Your Customized Identification Solution in Three Steps

1

Inquiry and
Consultation

We clarify the key details together: material, dimensions, quantity, manufacturing process, and desired delivery date. Don’t have vector data? No problem – a sketch is often sufficient to get started. We provide practical advice on technically and economically viable solutions.

2

Planning and
Quotation

Based on your information, we prepare an appropriate quotation. For more complex projects, we produce samples or prototypes for review and approval.

3

Frequently Asked Questions About Industrial Signs, Fronts and Labels (FAQ)

We offer a wide range of industry-relevant manufacturing and marking processes for signs, front panels and labels. Depending on the material, operating environment and requirements, different processes are used, for example:

Subsurface anodized printing (anodized subsurface printing):
Highly durable marking on aluminum by embedding the information into the anodized layer followed by sealing. This process is ideal for high-quality, permanently legible aluminum type plates and – depending on the design and application conditions – is well suited for demanding industrial applications as well as indoor and outdoor use.

Chemical etching:
Precise and high-quality marking on metals through chemical processing. Particularly suitable for durable signs and front panels.

Laser marking:
Contactless, precise marking – especially suitable for variable data such as serial numbers, barcodes or individual markings.

Digital printing and screen printing:
Multicolor printing processes for signs, front panels and labels. Depending on the requirements, they are suitable for fine details, variable content or cost-efficient series production.

Embossing and engraving:
Tactile and visually distinctive markings, e.g. for emblems, brand plates or special designs.

Our team recommends the most suitable process based on material, quantity, operating conditions, durability requirements and cost efficiency.

Our identification solutions are used across many sectors of the manufacturing industry and the public sector, including:

  • Mechanical and plant engineering
  • Shipping & maritime technology
  • Defense & aerospace
  • Automotive
  • Forestry
  • Medical and laboratory technology
  • Consumer goods
  • Electrical engineering
  • Public administration and municipal institutions

Delivery time depends on several factors, in particular the manufacturing process, material, quantity and current capacity utilization. Thanks to our high level of in-house production with many process steps carried out internally, we ensure short coordination paths and reliable delivery times. From technical clarification and tooling (if required) through to production, you receive comprehensive support from a single source.

Yes. We support you in selecting suitable materials, processes and specifications, as well as in the technical and design implementation. Depending on the project, this may include:

  • Design consultation
  • Material and process consultation
  • Samples / prototyping

Before production starts, you will receive a proof for approval.

The following information is helpful for preparing a suitable quotation:

  • Product and application: Is it a sign, front panel or label? What is it used for (e.g. machine identification, control panel, warning notice)?
  • Dimensions: Width × height in millimeters
  • Material preference / thickness: If known (e.g. aluminum, stainless steel, polyester). Otherwise, we will be happy to advise you.
  • Manufacturing process: e.g. etched, printed
  • Quantity / production volume: What quantity is currently required? Are repeat orders or reorders planned?
  • Design / data: Existing print-ready artwork, drawings or sketches
  • Special requirements: Holes, mounting, barcodes / QR codes, multilingual labeling, variable data, specific durability requirements

If you do not yet have all the details available, a brief description of your application is sufficient. We will clarify the remaining details together during the consultation.
