Legal Basis for Processing

Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR serves as the legal basis for processing operations for which we obtain consent for a specific purpose. If the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, such as in processing operations required for the delivery of goods or the provision of other services, processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR. The same applies to processing operations necessary for pre-contractual measures, such as inquiries about our products or services. If our company is subject to a legal obligation requiring the processing of personal data, such as fulfilling tax obligations, processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR.

Finally, processing operations may be based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. This applies to processing not covered by the above legal bases when processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party, provided that the interests, fundamental rights, and freedoms of the data subject do not override them. Such processing operations are permitted because they are specifically mentioned by the European legislator, who considered a legitimate interest may exist if the data subject is a customer of the responsible party (Recital 47, sentence 2 GDPR).

Withdrawal of Consent

Certain processing operations require your explicit consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time by sending a simple email. The lawfulness of data processing carried out prior to the withdrawal remains unaffected.

Right to Complain to the Competent Supervisory Authority

As a data subject, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in case of data protection violations. The responsible supervisory authority is the State Data Protection Officer of the federal state where our company is located. A list of data protection officers and their contact details can be found here: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.

Right to Data Portability

You have the right to receive data that we process automatically based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract, either to yourself or to a third party, in a machine-readable format. Direct transfer to another controller is possible if technically feasible.

Right to Access, Rectification, Blocking, and Deletion

You have the right, at any time and within legal limits, to free information about your stored personal data, its origin, recipients, and the purpose of processing, as well as the right to correction, blocking, or deletion of this data. For such requests or further questions regarding personal data, you may contact us using the contact details provided in the imprint.

SSL / TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content sent to us as site operators, our website uses SSL or TLS encryption. This ensures that data transmitted through this website is not readable by third parties. A secure connection is indicated by “https://” in your browser’s address bar and the padlock symbol in the browser.

Server Log Files

The website provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits automatically. This includes:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

These data are not merged with other data sources. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR, which allows processing of data to fulfill a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Contact Form

Data submitted via the contact form, including your contact details, is stored to process your inquiry or to follow up. This data will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

Processing of data entered in the contact form is based solely on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR). Consent can be revoked at any time via a simple email. The lawfulness of processing prior to the revocation remains unaffected.

Data submitted via the contact form remain with us until you request deletion, withdraw consent, or the data is no longer required. Mandatory legal provisions, such as retention periods, remain unaffected.
